It is with great appreciation that I say Thank You to the members of our community that either worked on the Lincoln County Child Abuse Prevention Month Committee directly or who supported the efforts county wide to raise awareness. Thank you to individuals and organizations who volunteered their time and efforts to support this campaign by including awareness messages in their activities during the month of April.
Partners included Lloyd McGuffey 6th Grade artists, art campaign with Ms. Allison Gibson, Lincoln County Early Childhood Program, Lincoln County Community Education, Lincoln County Public Library, KY Cabinet for Health and Family Service - Stanford Office of Permanency and Protection, United Human Service Council, WPBK fm, Lincoln County Health Department, Lincoln County Family Resource Centers (Helping Hands, Building Bridges, Family Connections, South Lincoln), Lincoln County Youth Service Center (LCMS & LCHS), Lincoln County Schools (students and staff), 21st Century Program, Lincoln County Health Department, Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, Lincoln County Churches that featured a Blue Ribbon Sunday awareness event.
Our campaign sponsors included the River Foundation: First Southern National Bank, CCC Bluegrass Community Connections for Children: Kentucky River Foothills, Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce.
