· Wednesday will be a big night at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron with a demolition derby at 7 p.m., a Monster Truck freestyle competition and fireworks.
· Rapid City Post 22 defeated defending American Legion Baseball national champion Eden Prairie, Minn., 3-2 over the weekend in a five-day tourney taking place in Rapid City.

All players will attend Saturday's WNBA game between the host Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut at 7 p.m. Area teams playing are Oakes-Hankinson (eighth-grade boys' North Dakota state champ) and Warner (seventh-grade boys' South Dakota state champ).
