3. Orlando Fringe review: 'Lust'

Lust, to me, is an intense emotion — full of drive and passion.
Lust, to me, is an intense emotion — full of drive and passion. So it's surprising at the top of ME Dance's Fringe Festival offering, titled "Lust," that the first dance has a feeling of lightness. Choreographer Marshall Ellis has given his...

5. Orlando Fringe review: 'Celebrity Match Game: The Musical (And a Game Show)'

The funniest thing about "Celebrity Match Game: The Musical" is the whiff of truth in the set-up.

7. Orlando Fringe review: 'Fetish'

If you remember Jason Nettle from his wrenching one-man drama "9/11: We Will Forget," you can't blame the guy for seeking out a little comic relief in the frequently oddball world of other people's kinks. "Fetish" is, in many ways, a photo negative of his last effort. While "9/11" used dashes of humor to lighten up the tragedy, "Fetish" is a very funny show about a very funny subject, spiked with a hint of melancholy.

9. Orlando Fringe review: 'Escape Reality'

Chainsaws! Mindgames! Those linking metal chain things! Yes, this is a full-on magic show, the best (and only) to be found at Fringe. Appearing out of the mist from a seemingly empty telephone booth, illusionist Nick Comis has an impressive array of toys at his disposal. From a box that collapses with his assistant (Sarah Lockard) inside to a chainsaw deathtrap machine, Comis' tricks are variations on ones you may have seen before, but I certainly couldn't fathom how he did them.

13. Orlando Fringe review: 'Little Miss Fringe Festival'

If Honey Boo Boo competed for the title of "Little Miss Fringe Festival," the reality TV starlet would be the classiest of the bunch.

23. Orlando Fringe Festival: How to Fringe

1. The Button: Anyone can relax near the outdoor stage at Loch Haven Park, visit the Visual Fringe art exhibition or participate in the weekend Kids Fringe activities. But if you want to see a ticketed show, you need to have a Fringe button — unless you are age 12 or younger. The button costs $9, and proceeds are used to run the festival. Buttons are available at festival ticket counters (cash only). If you lose that all-important button, be prepared to buy another one.
