     Anthony “Buddy” Pine, 84, died Saturday, Jan. 7, at Saint Joseph Hospital.  Buddy was a U.S. Army veteran and retired engineer for IBM. Survivors are his wife, Mitsy Mackey Pine; children Robert Pine and wife Sharon, Connie Sgorbissa, Lynn Cheever, Toni Cuzzi and husband Alex, and stepson Rick Mandt; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Services were Wednesday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers were Joseph White, Peter Myers, Dr. Carl Russell, Col. Howard F. McKenzie, Robert Pine, Rick Mandt and Alex Cuzzi. Honorary bearers were L. H. Eisenhower, Arthur Kurz and Bonnie Morgan. Visitation was Tuesday.
