    <span style="font-size: small;">The biggest weather issue this holiday weekend will be the wind.&nbsp; Although an isolated storm or two is possible in the west this afternoon and overnight, most of the state will remain dry</span><span style="font-size: small;">.&nbsp; Better chances of rain come Sunday across the extreme northern half of Kansas, near the Nebraska state line, however those storms will also be hit or miss.&nbsp; Monday brings slightly better odds, of a hit or miss afternoon/evening storm but shouldn't be enough to ruin outdoor plans for the majority of folks celebrating the Memorial Day holiday. </span>

    Plenty of clouds will be around Kansas today.&nbsp; Showers and storms however, will be rather hit and miss.&nbsp; The best chance to see storms will be in northwest Kansas and don't be shocked if some severe weather develops there.&nbsp; Large hail and high winds will be the main concerns but an isolated tornado can't be ruled out either.   8. Storm Team 12: Hit and miss weekend storms

    <span style="font-size: small;">A few storms in south central Kansas this evening will move out of the area by sunset. Other storms will develop later tonight on a widely scattered basis. That will continue to be the case right through the holiday weekend. Dry most of the time interrupted by periods of showers and thunderstorms. No widespread severe weather is expected but the occasional storm could produce some quarter size hail and winds of 50-60 mph. High temperatures will be in the 70s on Friday. The rest of the weekend will find readings in the 80s over central and eastern Kansas with some 90s likely in the west. There will be another chance for thunderstorms coming our way on Wednesday.</span>
    A few storms in south central Kansas this evening will move out of the area by sunset. Other storms will develop later tonight on a widely scattered basis. That will continue to be the case right through the holiday weekend. Dry most of the time...
