  1. Letts and Morton are headed to 'Homeland'

Steppenwolf ensemble members Tracy Letts and Amy Morton have been added to the cast of the Showtime drama "Homeland," TVLine reports. Letts will appear in the show's third season as a senate committee chairman, while Morton will have a recurring role as an attorney appointed to CIA operative Carrie Mathison (played by Claire Danes). Both Letts and Morton are nominated for Tony Awards this year, recognized for their acerbic do-si-do as George and Martha in the Broadway transfer of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," a Steppenwolf production that debuted in Chicago last year.
