    Around 1:15 p.m. Monday a southbound Norfolk-Southern train left the tracks parallel to the Geneva- McKinney Road in McKinney, spilling 44 containers onto the embankment and piling several on top of each other. The train consisted of three locomotives and 35 cars, five of which were placarded as carrying hazardous materials (hazmat). Most of the load appeared to be general freight and UPS material.
