A 21-year-old is arrested after a failed robbery at an auto parts store.
It happened Saturday afternoon at Advanced Auto Parts in the 8300 block of West Central.
A 21-year-old man walked into the store and said he had a gun. He demanded money from the register and when they refused the man hit one of them in the head and left.
The clerks immediately called 911. As officers were responding, they saw the vehicle that the clerks described.
They arrested the driver for attempted robbery.
