With Matt Cassel under center the Chiefs were struggling; with Tyler Palko, Kansas City is floundering. The Chiefs have lost four straight games and are tied with San Diego for last place in the AFC West. On Sunday the Chiefs face the 2nd place team in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears, at Soldier Field in downtown Chicago.
Almost two weeks ago the Chiefs claimed former Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton off waivers but he has yet to see the field. Instead, Palko is playing under center for the Chiefs and in four games he's thrown for 444 yards and 6 interceptions.
Kansas City's latest loss was last Sunday night to the Steelers. KC fell 13-9 in that game.
The Bears have quarterback issues of their own, however. Jay Cutler broke his thumb on his throwing hand and has had to be replaced by Caleb Hanie. Hanie threw three interceptions in Chicago's 25-20 loss last week at Oakland.
Sunday's game against Chicago starts at noon central time. Highlights will be available as always on Sports Sunday on KWCH 12.
