  1. Not everyone is out to destroy Hillary all the time

In recent days, Foreign Policy magazine's tally of the number of Hillary Rodham Clinton references during last Wednesday's Benghazi hearing has become grist for politicians and reporters to extrapolate wider political truths about the House Oversight...

  7. Column: Benghazi and IRS: Sons of Watergate?

In his defense of President Barack Obama, press secretary Jay Carney is beginning to sound a lot like Ronald Zeigler, Richard Nixon's spokesman. Carney only has to use the word "inoperative," as Ziegler did when incriminating evidence surfaced that proved...

  9. Breathless over Benghazi: Republicans can't help overplaying their hand

Republicans could make an easy hit on the Obama administration by highlighting the State Department's apparent bureaucratic blundering during and after the deadly terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last fall, but they refuse to settle for such a small political prize. Instead, they have got themselves all steamed up and snarling about heinous, impeachable offenses that are figments of their imaginations.

  19. Today's Buzz: Is Benghazi Obama's Watergate?

On Monday President Obama called the ongoing controversy over the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya a “sideshow.” The president accused critics of exploiting the tragedy for political reasons, and argued that his administration has been working to fix the problems that made the mission vulnerable. But the critics, including top Republicans in Congress, pointed to emails that showed the White House took part in discussions between the State Department and CIA over how the talking points describing the attack would be written, and changes were made that obscured the true nature of the attack. One GOP lawmaker, Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, invoked the possibility of impeachment proceedings. Are Republicans blowing this scandal out or proportion? Or is President Obama still not coming clean with the American people? Talk about it!

  23. Bad faith and Benghazi
