1. Mike Preston: So far, so good for Ravens with Bryant McKinnie

So far, all is good as far as left offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie and the Ravens.
    The Baltimore Sun
So far, all is good as far as left offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie and the Ravens. The word from The Castle is that the often-troubled McKinnie has been attending conditioning sessions and working hard. His weight is down and reasonable, and the...

  3. Versatility could be key in Ravens' crowded offensive line picture

Over the last couple of weeks, the Ravens have added and retained seven offensive linemen, further complicating what figures to be one of the more competitive -- if not interesting -- position battles in training camp.

  5. Ravens news, notes and opinions

The common conclusion from the Ravens’ decision to re-sign Bryant McKinnie was that the organization wasn’t yet comfortable with the idea of Kelechi Osemele starting at left tackle. I’m sure there is plenty of truth to that even though team officials suggest that’s not the case. However, the reason why the McKinnie move was a no-brainer – at least in my mind – was that the Ravens couldn’t risk potentially weakening two positions along the offensive line. Osemele may very well develop into a quality left tackle in the NFL. However, who replaces Osemele at left guard? Osemele was dominant at times when he moved from right tackle to left guard for the playoff run. Could Jah Reid play at that high of a level? How about Ramon Harewood or fifth-round draft pick Rick Wagner? The Ravens’ offense made too many strides last year to start the coming season with a completely new pairing on the left side of the offensive

  11. The Ravens are suddenly young on the offensive line

Last summer, it looked as if the Ravens might enter the regular season with one of the oldest starting offensive lines in the NFL. Matt Birk, Bryant McKinnie and Bobbie Williams were all in their mid-thirties and expected to start. But as it turned out, both McKinnie and Williams started the season on the bench and only Birk played.

  15. A super-premature look at Ravens' 2014 draft needs

Just two days ago, the Ravens wrapped another successful draft, selecting a 10-player class that is being hailed as one of the weekend’s best by many analysts. Next there are minicamps, offseason workouts and later a training camp to be conducted, and eventually, football games will be played. But who cares about all that?

  17. After successful draft, Ravens need to focus on finding a left tackle

The Ravens still have holes. They need to find a starting left tackle, and they could use a No. 2 receiver and add depth at the linebacker and offensive line positions as well.

  19. Dolphins haunted by second- and third-round draft disappointments

The flashiest, most-hyped day of the NFL Draft is Thursday. That's when the high-dollar, first-round picks don their new outfits so they'll look good when they stroll across the stage to shake hands with Commissioner Roger Goodell.

  21. Kelechi Osemele prepared to make transition on offensive line

If he had it his way, Kelechi Osemele wouldn't be moving anywhere. The Ravens would re-sign free agent left tackle Bryant McKinnie and the offensive line, minus the retired Matt Birk, would start the 2013 season like it ended last year.

4. The Ravens finally made their big switcheroo on the offensive line and it paid off, which is why we will probably see this same starting five against the Denver Broncos.
