    1 The George Rogers Clark boys basketball team won the 10th Region championship for the second year in a row and compiled a 31-6 record. The Cardinals defeated Owensboro Apollo in the opening round, before falling to eventual state champion Louisville Trinity in the quarterfinals. Clark won the Whitaker Bank Fort Herrod Classic, the Ashland Invitational and also compiled a 17-game winning streak during the regular season. Team member Bopper Stenzel made the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star team.
