    The indoor Boyle County Farmers Market will continue to operate until the outdoor market opens in the Spring. We are located in the Professional Building on Main Street, Danville (next to Hilliard and Lyons). Hours are: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Stop in for fresh vegetables, baked goods, jams, jellies, sorghum, honey, frozen meats and more.

    NEW YORK (AP) - Millions of people from Maine to the Carolinas awoke Tuesday without electricity, and an eerily quiet New York City was all but closed off by car, train and air as superstorm Sandy steamed inland, still delivering punishing wind and rain. The U.S. death toll climbed to 35, many of the victims killed by falling trees.

    It was an adventure getting home from California due to bad weather at many of the  major airports last week. Our flight from Los Angeles to Dallas was cancelled twice. Fortunately, the hotel still had rooms available so we didn’t have to spend the night in an airport. It is so good to be home.
