  23. Herbert Bain: Nov. 23, 2012

    Herbert Bain, 82, husband of Ethel Bain, passed on to be with his Lord on Nov. 23. He was a former employee of the Jessamine County Board of Education for 32 years, a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Southland Christian Church. Additional survivors include his daughter, Teresa and husband Larry Richardson; a very special grandson, Kyle Morgan Becknell, &ldquo;Papaw&rsquo;s Little Buddy&rdquo;; and numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp; Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Betts &amp; West Funeral Home. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Monday and from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
