    William H. Tosh joined Sousa&rsquo;s Band December 27th, 2012 in Costa Mesa, CA.&nbsp; He was born May 13, 1924 in Kansas City, KS.&nbsp; &ldquo;Bill&rdquo; was a 22 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, enlisting upon graduation from Washington High School, summer 1942.&nbsp; He was assigned as a bandsman upon completion of boot camp and retired in 1964 as band master.&nbsp; He was a graduate of the U.S. Navy School of Music, Orange Coast College and the Cal State University Fullerton, and taught Instrumental Music and English in the Orange County Public Schools until 1984.&nbsp; He was a member of the Masons, Lodge #371, Honolulu, HI: Marine Corps Musicians Association: Lifetime member of American Federation of Musicians: Sons of the American Revolution.&nbsp; His hobbies included harpsichord building, genealogy and playing in local music groups well into his eighties.&nbsp; He is survived by three children: Sherida, Franklyn and Melissa (James), 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.&nbsp; Memorial services will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park: 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA at 10:00 a.m., January 11th, 2013, on site reception to follow.&nbsp; See www.pacificview.us, for maps. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, 3500 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA at 1:30 pm the same day.
