After a dry summer that sparked water restrictions across Central Indiana, area reservoirs are now back to normal.
Citizens Energy Group said Morse, Geist and Eagle Creek reservoirs are full and underground aquifers are recharged. The company said water restrictions and steady rainfall after the drought helped bring levels to normal.
Even after the mandatory restrictions stopped in September, Citizens Energy asked customers to continue voluntary water cutbacks. Citizens said water usage remained low throughout the fall, saving about three billion gallons of water.
