The Clark Historical Society hosted a “show and tell” session of interesting items from the past. One item was a medal displayed by Dr. Edward O. Guerrant that he received from Pope Pius XII during a his visit to Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Rome during World War II. Dr. Guerrant has kept the medal for 45 years.
The Clark County 4-H Speech Champions and Citizenship Champions will be making a trip to Frankfort to see the state legislature in session. State Rep. Paul Richardson will provide the learning experience plus lunch and a tour.
The Winchester Board of Commissioners voted 3-2 to abide by findings of a proposed management audit of Winchester Municipal Utilities Co. with regard to any recommendations concerning rates.
