Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met for their regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the Taste of China. The guest speaker was Steve Flairty, author of “Kentucky’s Everyday Heroes,” and he spoke about some of the heroes.

The next NARFE meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Taste of China. The program will be presented by Lauren Mink, who will speak about the STRIDE¿program, and her experiences in Hollywood as she was trying out for “American Idol.”
