Democratic Woman’s Club having picnic, meeting
The Democratic Woman’s Club picnic will be Monday, Aug. 6, at Beech Springs Market pavilion at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a potluck meal and drinks will be provided by the club.
Speakers will be JoEllen Reed and Rachel Swanson, executive assistant with Kentucky Young Democrats.
Rabbi at Rotary
The Winchester Rotary Club will meet Friday at noon at the Winchester Country Club. Rabbi Marc Kline from Temple Adath Israel in Lexington will be the guest speaker.
Extension Board meets Aug. 8
The Clark County Extension District Board will meet Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Clark County Extension Office.
Fall cruise-in set for Aug. 11
The Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center fall cruise-in will be Aug. 11 from 3 to 9 p.m. at 1010 Bypass Road. There will be free food and giveaways. All car makes and models are invited to participate. For more information, call 737-1700.
