Alpha Alpha Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa met recently for a Christmas dinner at the home of Marion Norton. Gifts were selected for patients at Eastern State Hospital and the annual Christmas auction was held.

The Canton, Mass., company was the leader among 880 profitable companies in terms of return on equity.
So far, the rain-soaked Christmas weekend has brought no major road or utility problems, but local officials are looking at the more than three inches that have fallen since Thursday with a wary eye.
