Pvt. Donald Lee Welch has returned to Fort Knox after spending the Christmas holidays with his mother, Mrs. Woodrow Puckett, 72 Memorial Park.
New officers of the Kiwanis Club were installed Thursday night at the club’s 42nd anniversary program at the Old South Inn. Installed were Wilson A. Conner, president; the Rev. J.I. Meyer, vice president; William G. Kagin, secretary; Curtis M. Hastings, treasurer; and Walter R. Hudgens, immediate past president.
WINCHESTER (AP) — The Area Redevelopment Administration has authorized a study to determine the feasibility of locating a brick and drain tile factory at Irvine. The study will be made by the Spindletop Research Foundation.
