New officers of the Kiwanis Club were installed Thursday night at the club’s 42nd anniversary program at the Old South Inn. Installed were Wilson A. Conner, president; the Rev. J.I. Meyer, vice president; William G. Kagin, secretary; Curtis M. Hastings, treasurer; and Walter R. Hudgens, immediate past president.
WINCHESTER (AP) — The Area Redevelopment Administration has authorized a study to determine the feasibility of locating a brick and drain tile factory at Irvine. The study will be made by the Spindletop Research Foundation.
