Seventeen members of the Clark County 4-H Ponies and Partners Club have been very busy this month preparing and participating in the District 4 4-H Horse Show. Twelve members received High Point or Reserve High Point Award honors in their respective divisions. Sixteen youth will be showing at the Kentucky State Horse Show the first week of July in Louisville.
At the District show, members showed their 4-H Project Horses in either Hunter, Western Judged, Contest, Saddleseat or the Walking/Racking/Mountain Horse Division. Within each division youth are divided into age groups or event type. They were required to show in one showmanship class and up to three performance classes. Youth qualify for state on the Danish Ribbon System.
