Going up: Workers construct new Clark County elementary school

Workers construct the wall of the new elementary school being built behind Central Elementary School and Conkwright Middle School. The new school will replace Central, Fannie Bush and Pilot View elementary schools. The Kentucky Department of Education gave the school district $13 million to construct the school. The new school will accommodate 500 students and is expected to be ready in August 2013. Codell Construction Co. of Winchester is the project construction manager.
