Mending fences
Jim Blevins sizes up a stone to place in a rock wall he was repairing along Old Boonesboro Road. Blevins is a retired stone mason who was helping a friend repair a section of the fence. A rock splits in the exact spot that Blevins strikes it with a hammer. Blevins uses small pieces of rock to fill in the gaps to help make the wall strong. Blevins is repairing about 40 feet of the fence.
