Marine Corps League meeting Saturday

The Harold G. Epperson, Medal of Honor Detachment #1113, Marine Corps League will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at City Hall.

Epperson anniversary service Monday

The annual Harold G. Epperson anniversary service will be at Winchester Cemetery at the Epperson grave at 11 a.m. Monday. The gravesite is marked, and everyone is invited to attend.

GED graduation moved

The Winchester-Clark County Adult Education Center GED graduation scheduled for the Leeds Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 23, at 6 p.m. has been moved to the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ located at 24 East Hickman St.

BCTC hosts new student open house

Bluegrass Community and Technical College is hosting an open house for new students from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28.

 CMS cheerleaders sponsor dunking booth

The Conkwright Middle School cheerleaders will have a dunking booth at the Clark County Fair Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.

New yoga classes at Parks and Rec

The Winchester/Clark County Parks and Recreation Department is offering two yoga classes every Wednesday. Mixed Level Morning Yoga is from 7 to 8 a.m. and Gentle Yoga is from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. The drop-in rate is $8 per class and $6 per class for Parks and Recreation Health and Wellness Center members. A five class pass is $25.
