Ashlea Dean Hollon of Winchester departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the age of 23 years and 14 days.
She was the daughter of Prentice and Becky Dunn Hollon. She was born in Lexington on Jan. 23, 1990. Ashlea graduated from Asbury College with a degree in Christian Ministry and was assistant coach for the girls’ basketball team at the Lexington Christian Academy.
She is survived by her parents, Prentice and Becky Dunn Hollon of Winchester; one brother, Prentice Dean Hollon, II of Winchester; four uncles, Rick Dunn (Pam), Sherwin Dunn (Donna) Doug Campbell and Courtney Noble Jr.; three aunts, Angie Doyle (Steve), Melody Harper (Mark) and Kim Hollon; a host of cousins and her childhood caregiver, Lois Rayburn.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Bessie Tyra Hollon; her maternal grandparents, T.C. and Hazel Taulbee Dunn, two aunts, Shelia Campbell and Valerie Hollon-Noble; and three uncles, Roger Hollon, Steven Hollon and Danny (Jane Wilson) Hollon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at Porter & Son Funeral Directors in Campton with visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m.
