Barbara June Timbrook Stafford, 76, of Clark Co., wife of Erich E. “Pete” Stafford, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Stafford was born in Sorgho, Ky. on Oct. 20, 1935 to the late Freeman and Cora Hurst Timbrook. She was a retired registered nurse.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Susan Williams (Roger Baton) of Winchester, Erich J. “Pete” Stafford (Mary) of Gaithersburg, Md., and Virginia Robertson (Wayne) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Clifford Williams, Kathleen Stafford, Brooke Stafford, Ashley Robertson, Taylor Robertson, and Peter Robertson; eight brothers and sisters, Wanda Grady (Bob), Tini Clark (Bobby), Ike Timbrook, James Timbrook (Leanne), Jack Timbrook (Fran), Mark Timbrook (Suzie), Lewis Timbrook (Dena), and Michael Timbrook; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Friends of Powell Co. Pets, P.O. Box 474, Stanton, KY 40380.
