Fay Hubbard, 86, of Winchester, widow of S.A. Hubbard, passed away Tuesday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Estill County, she was born Oct. 28, 1926, to the late Courtney L. and Nona Cox Townsend. Fay retired after 37 years from Sylvania. She was a member of the Forest Grove Christian Church, and former volunteer for the Clark Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Hubbard of Winchester; sister, Ona A. Meeks of Winchester; grandson, Shane Hubbard of Winchester; special friend, Hermal Pitts of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Courtney Lloyd Townsend, Thomas E. Townsend, and Leonard Townsend.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Forest Grove Christian Church with Bro. Larry Decker officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Hubbard, Shawn Young, David Hubbard, Andy Vaughn, Jason Vaughn, Tommy Townsend, Tommy Lee Townsend and Sean Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Forest Grove Christian Church.
