Goldie E. Martin, 98, of Winchester, wife of the late Woodford Martin, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
She was born on September 20, 1914, to the late Allie and Pora Fitzpatrick Estes. She was a homemaker and retired from Curlee Clothing Co. Goldie was also a long-time member of Mt. Zion Christian Church and a World War II veteran.
Goldie is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Preston Johnson of Winchester; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2013, at the Winchester Cemetery by the Rev. Kenny Speakes.
