James Curtis Epperson, 53, husband of Theresa Dickens Epperson, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his home.
A native of Perry County, he was the son of Charles Epperson and the late Hazel Hurt Epperson. Jim was a Link-Belt Construction Company employee, an Army veteran and a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include two sons, Jimmy Epperson and Jon Chapman; two daughters, Kayla Hall and Christine Dickens; five grandchildren, Cameron, Kadence, Chanlyr, Palmer and Kollin; three brothers, Chuck, Ronnie and Mark Epperson; two sisters, Linda Hogan and Debbie Cornett; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at noon Monday, March 11, at the Landmark Baptist Church by Bro. Jimmy Muncie. Burial will follow in the Epperson Family Cemetery in Lee County. Pallbearers will be Jim’s brothers and Jon Chapman, Jimmy McMillan and Dale Dickens.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
