Joan Roberts (Gleffe) Newton, 76, formerly of Winchester, died March 6, 2013 in Saint Joesph East Hospital, Mount Sterling, Ky. She was born May 25, 1936, in Omaha, Neb.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. March 9, 2013, at Grace Bible Church on Main Street in Winchester.
Joan was a great Christian, a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include four daughters, Kar-Leen Gleffe, Dawn Richardson (Shane), Lynn Jackman and Arlinda Gleffe; grandchildren, Kay-Leigh Gleffe, Brett Roberts, Dustin Bishop (Angela Cagle), Michael Jackman and Pipper Jackman, and Ashley Gleffe (Jonathan Baldwin); one great-grandchild, Kaidyn Bishop; two brothers, one sister, many uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces and many friends, including Janet Watts, Angel Kane, Alan Jackman and their families.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
