Kenneth Arnold Starnes, age 68, of Sharpsburg, Ga., passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
He was born on July 20, 1944, in Stanford, Ky., to the late Walter Starnes and Lura Griffen Starnes.
Mr. Starnes is survived by his loving wife, Betty Starnes; children, David and his wife Stacey Starnes, Jeffrey and his wife Annie Starnes, Eric and his wife Amanda Starnes; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held Friday, March 15, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Clark to officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Grady Health Foundation 191 Peachtree St. N.E., Suite 820, Atlanta, GA 30303 in support of the Grady Burn Center.
