Marie Dean Wilson, 85, of Nicholasville, formerly of Winchester, wife of the late Lambert Myers Wilson, passed away on Monday, May 7, at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster.
Mrs. Wilson was born in McKee, on June 26, 1924, to the late Rev. Ray Dean and Suda Davidson Dean. She was a school teacher and homemaker. She was a member of the Clark County Homemakers Club, a member of the Jessamine Christian Church in Nicholasville, and formerly attended the Central Baptist Church in Winchester, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her son, Roger Dean (Judy) Wilson of Berea; daughter, Brenda (Phil) Richardson of Nicholasville; seven grandchildren, Lory (Keith) Faulconer, Brandon (LaRae) Pierce, Haylee (Chad) Moody, Matthew Pierce, Derrick (Julianne) Pierce, Beth (B.C.) Wyatt and Julie (Thad) Ferrell; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul and Silas Dean.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 10, at Scobee Funeral Home by Brother Joe Tipton and Brother Rick Hatley.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Pierce, Matthew Pierce, Derrick Pierce, Chad Moody, Keith Faulconer and Nevin Goebel.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, at the Jessamine Christian Church in Nicholasville and again from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Scobee Funeral Home.
