Roger Daniel Ritchie, 65, husband of Patricia Woolwine Ritchie went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Roger was a native of Clark County. He was the son of the late Levi and Cordelia Johnson Ritchie. Roger retired from General Electric in 2009. He worked for Rockwell International, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Roger was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He loved hymn music, golfing with friends and family, wood work and spending time outdoors.

Additional survivors include two sons, Roger D. Ritchie II and Timothy S. Ritchie; two daughters-in-law, Kimberly D. Ritchie and Denise L. Ritchie; two granddaughters, Taylor P. Ritchie and Hannah D. Ritchie; his mother-in-law Gladys Woolwine; two sisters, Mildred Dick of Indiana and Hilda (Kenny) Farney of Louisville; one brother, Willard Ritchie of Winchester; five brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents Roger was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Maines; a brother, Harold Ritchie; and his father-in-law, Bill Woolwine, and mother-in-law, Marie Baker Woolwine.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Landmark Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Muncie officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Landmark Baptist Church gymnasium, and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at the church.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville.
