Central Baptist Church will host a community forum to discuss the problem of illegal drugs and pills in the community.
The forum is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.
Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner, who said previously that Winchester has a serious drug problem that needs to be addressed, will be the lead speaker.
Also speaking will be Clark County Coroner Robert Gayheart, who will discuss the toll drug-related deaths have taken on the community, and Stephen Humble, who will speak of the work of the Clark County Christian Drug Coalition and how the church community can get more involved in addressing the drug problem.
Law enforcement and judicial officials, elected officials and other community leaders have been invited to the forum.
