Tent revival Aug. 27
at House of Prayer

The House of Prayer, 105 E. Broadway, will have a tent revival Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. There will be hotdogs and chips served. Pastor Phillip Webb will be the speaker.

Homecoming Sept. 18
at Bethlehem Christian

Bethlehem Christian Church will host homecoming services Sept. 18. Sunday school begins at 10:15 a.m. and morning worship begins at 11 a.m. A potluck dinner will be served following the services.

to sing at El Bethel

The Hughes Family will perform at El Bethel United Methodist Church, Goffs Corner Road, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m.

Salem Presbyterian
hosts music event

Salem Presbyterian Church, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will host Music Appreciation Sunday on Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. Church members will honor those serving in the music ministry.
The church also will host its 35th annual ice cream social at 6 p.m. The event will feature homemade ice cream and plenty of toppings. There will be a hymn singing.
Everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Community Services food bank.

Friends of the Poor
Walk to be Sept. 24

The St. Vincent de Paul Society’s fourth annual Friends of the Poor Walk will be Saturday, Sept. 24 at College Park from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
All funds raised will help feed the hungry in Clark County.
