The George Rogers Clark High School Marching Band performs today in the 61st annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The band was selected from more than 300 applicants to participate in the holiday parade. The GRCHS band was the last band in the parade and escorted Santa Claus. It will return to Winchester Sunday night.
Stefanie Ferguson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Ferguson, Clark County, has been selected for inclusion in the 1987-88 “Who’s Who Among American High School Students.” Miss Ferguson is a junior at George Rogers Clark High School.
Students of Donna Abner at Belmont Junior High School placed first in the Kentucky Special Olympics 1987 Adult Bowling Tournament.
