Jimmy Taylor has returned to his home in Mesa, Ariz., following a two-week visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Taylor, Ecton Road.
Lt. Col. Alice Tucker has returned to her home on Moundale Avenue after serving as encampment commander for the Cadets of the Kentucky Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Ala. Eighty-two cadets from Kentucky participated in the encampment with 11 senior staff members.
The annual picnic of the Clark County Chapter of the American War Mothers was Thursday evening in the community room at Smith Manor. The invocation was given by Norval Willoughby.
