After a flight that traveled from Lexington to Calgary, Alberta, Canada via Chicago and Spokane, the 1987 Clark County Agricultural Tour got under way Wednesday, July 8, with a bus tour from Calgary into southern Alberta. The first scheduled stop was at Fort McLeod, where the Northwest Mounted Police, forerunners  of the Royal Candadian Mounted Police, were born. But the educational part of the tour began as soon as the buses rolled out from the Calgary city limits.

Julie K. Pearson has returned to her home in Eatontown, N.J., after being called to Winchester due to the illness of her father, William K. Burns. While in Winchester, Mrs. Pearson visited her parents and grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Mastin, at her home on Kentucky Street. Mrs. Pearson’s husband, Paul Pearson, is stationed with the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade, Fort Monmouth, N.J.
