Tentative plans for the dessert-bridge held annually for the benefit of the Guerrant Clinic were announced Wednesday at the quarterly meeting of the Guerrant Clinic Auxiliary Inc. Mrs. J.H. Newberry Jr., general chairman, announced that the event is scheduled Oct. 18 at the St. Joseph gymnasium, and announced committee chairmen for the event.
WASHINGTON (AP)¿— Soviet Premier Krushchev probably will sign a separate peace treaty later this week. But it is highly unlikely he will give the German Reds the power to plunge the world into war over Berlin.
