UNITED¿NATIONS, N.Y. (AP) — U Thant embarked today on a four-year term as secretary-general of the United Nations in a considerably stronger position than he has had as the stop-gap replacement for Dag Hammerskjold.
Plans for the future use of the old City High building on Burns Avenue now used by juniors and seniors in Clark County High School were discussed at Friday’s school board meeting. A new high school combining the upperclassmen and junior division (freshman and sophomores), now at old County High School on Lexington Road, is being reconstructed on Boonesboro Road.
Gary Domigan, Glendale, Ohio, was the recent guest of his grandmother, Mrs. Viola Baker, at her home on North Main Street.
