All-District, All-State musicians

Four George Rogers Clark High School band students have been recognized for making the Kentucky Music Educators Association All District Band and All State Band. Making All District Band are, from left, Mark Vance II, Kristen Wade, Katie Long and Brittany Conn. Long also made the All State Band. Students must audition for both bands, competing against student musicians in Fayette and surrounding counties. The All District Band will perform Saturday at Bryan Station High School in Lexington. The All State Band concert will be at 3 p.m. on Feb. 9 in Louisville. The GRCHS band is directed by Chris Yoo.
