Blazing a trail

YMCA Executive Director Bill Pace marks the start line for the Daniel Boone 5K Race on Boone Avenue just south of George Rogers Clark High School, top photo. The start and end of the race, which previously started and ended in front of the Clark County Public Library, has moved to the high school to ease traffic near College Park and the festival and to provide ample parking for runners.
