Mission conference begins Sunday
Landmark Baptist Church, 1223 Iron Works Road, will host its annual mission conference Aug. 5-8.
Sunday services are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Monday-Wednesday services are at 6:30 p.m.
Speakers will be Jerry Sexton of Bearing Precious Seed Ministry and missionaries Brian Cone, Jon Stammen, Joshua Amaea, Rey Martinez, Arnold Alagao and Danny Flick and evangelist Terry Schooley.
Church hosts BBQ dinner fundraiser
There will be a barbecue dinner fundraiser at Winchester Community Church, 125 N. Franklin Ave., today from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
Dinner includes pork barbecue sandwich, potato salad, baked beans and cole slaw for $6.50.
Desserts and canned soda are available for an additional cost.
Barbecue sandwiches may be purchased individually for $2.75.
Dine in, carry out and delivery available. Delivery only within city limits.

Ice cream social at Salem Presbyterian
Salem Presbyterian Church, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will host the 36th annual ice cream social and hymn-sing Sunday at 6 p.m. There will be homemade ice cream, toppings and other desserts.
After the ice cream social, the congregation will gather in the sanctuary to sing hymns.
Admission is one can of food to donate to Clark County Community Services.
Bible conference at Grace Baptist
The summer Bible conference at Grace Baptist Church, 5990 Lexington Road, will be Aug. 12-14 with guest speakers Tom Wagoner and Clark Bosher. Music will be provided by Ashley Welborn.
Evening services will be at 7.
Sunday services are 9:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.
