Grace Lutheran to host guest preacher
Daniel Gard, a professor of exegetical theology and dean of Military Chaplaincy Programs at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind., will present, "When Kingdoms Collide: Implications of the TwoKingdoms Doctrine," at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Eastland Parkway in Lexington at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11.
The program will provide a biblical perspective on the relationship between church and state. He will also be the guest preacher at Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester, Sunday, Feb. 12. He will lead the Bible class at 9:15 a.m. and preach in the divine service at 10:30 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
February events at Winchester Foursquare Church
Winchester Foursquare Church, 12 Sycamore St., will host a soup bean dinner fundraiser at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.
There also will be gospel singing Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at the church featuring local musicians.
On Feb. 26, there will be a ladies’ luncheon. All ladies are invited.
Children’s Church services will begin Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.
Church services are Sundays at 6 p.m. and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Singings are the third Friday of the month at 7 p.m.

'Intersection' at Central Baptist
Central Baptist Church will host a special service for children, similar to vacation Bible school, every Saturday in the church annex from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The ministry will be called Intersection and is open to any interested children.
