Day of prayer for Habitat for Humanity

Local churches host car show
Calvary Chapel Foursquare Church will host a car show, along with Eastside Baptist Church, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 148 E. Broadway. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 to register, and awards will be given to the top 20 vehicles. There will be food and door prizes. Registration is $20. Central Baptist Church will host a fall revival Oct. 1-5 at 7 nightly.
House of Prayer at new location
House of Prayer Church has moved from 105 E. Broadway to Rose Mary C. Brooks Place. Pastor Phillip Webb will lead services every Saturday at 6 p.m. Services are open to the public.
