Clark County Youth Salute designees
Photographs and biographies of all Youth Salute winners from Clark County will run on the schools page of the Winchester Sun, a few each week until the list is complete.

Alexis Warner

Alexis is a member of several organizations.
This year she is a member of the varsity girls basketball team, volleyball team, National Honor Society, First Priority, Spirit Club and Junior Advisory.
Upon graduation in May 2012, Alexis plans to enroll at Bellarmine University or Western Kentucky University and major in criminal justice.

Allison Becknell

Allison is involved within her school and community.
She is a member of Beta Club, National Honors Society,and Future Business Leaders of America.
She is also a three-year member of Student Advisory and is the secretary of Embracing Global Obligations.
Allison participates in many community service activities with Embracing Global Obligations, such as raising awareness for the Clark County Homeless Coalition and fund raising for various organizations.
She is a varsity tennis player, a DARE Role Model and participated in the 2009-2010 Clark County Teen Court. Allison has very strong leadership skills and hopes to pursue a career as an equine physical therapist at Georgetown College.

Amie Williamson

Amie is involved with many organizations in high school.
She has been in the marching band for four years and played the clarinet for three years and the bass clarinet for one.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and First Priority. She is also involved in the drama department and participated in two musical productions.
She is also involved with many church activities, including the church youth group, working with vacation Bible school, and has participating in two 30-Hour Famines.
She also volunteered with Operation Happiness, Shoeboxes for Children and the Angel Tree Network.
Amie is plans on attending Morehead State University and pursuing a career in pediatrics.
