Clark man indicted for sexual abuse, indecent exposure
A 70-year-old man was indicted Thursday on charges of exposing himself to three girls and two adult women and touching several of them sexually.
Donald Parido, of Springfield, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, one count of attempted first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and two counts of indecent exposure for a series of incidents in January.
According to court documents, the incidents happened between Jan. 13 and 17. Two of the girls, ages 7 and 5, told their mother that Parido touched them between their legs and a third, 8, said he tried to get her to touch his genitals.
After he was removed from the situation, two adult women said he grabbed their breasts. One of them said he tried to get her to have sex with him and exposed himself.
Parido was not in court Thursday. According to court documents, he has already had a competency evaluation at the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center.
He is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
The grand jury also returned the following indictments Thursday:
— Daniel Vargas and Jasmine Fox, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, conspiracy to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Vargas), tampering with physical evidence (Vargas), failure to signal (Vargas), no operator’s license (Vargas)
— Jason T. Fulz, attempted first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, alcohol intoxication, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor indictment)
— Roberto Casas and Naomi Cole, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance
— Daniel Vargas and Christopher Gilvin, conspiracy to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Vargas), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Gilvin)
— Michael Hanley, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct (misdemeanor indictment)
— Hubert Stewart, theft by unlawful taking, second-degree escape
— Joann Davis, attempted first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
— Benson J.¿Ingram, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance
