Eugene Noel, 81, of Winchester, widower of Patricia A. Noel, passed away Friday at the Mayfair Manor in Lexington.
A native of Midway, he was born Jan. 20, 1931, to the late Paul and Willa Childers Noel. He was a United States Air Force veteran during the Korean War. He retired after 28 years of service from IBM, and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Greg Noel, of Lexington, and Gene (Betsy) Noel of Nicholasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Marie) Noel of Versailles; two sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Elam of Winchester, and Linda Wharton of Lexington; and one grandson, Nicklas Noel.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church with Dennis Wainwright officiating.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., and also on Tuesday from noon until the hour of services at the church.
