Fixing the deck

Construction workers with M & M Bridge and Highway Contracting of Mount Sterling work on the bridge deck carrying Irvine Road over the Red River at the Clark County-Estill County line Tuesday morning. Irvine Road is closed while workers perform the $316,934.42 bridge deck restoration project. The work is scheduled to be completed no later than Sept. 4. Motorists can use Ky. 82, Ky. 15 and Ky. 1958 through Powell County as detour routes.
